Important things to remember

  • Croydon Truth is not a substitution for medical treatment or advice.  We will never lead you to
question or give up your relationship with your doctor.

  • There is nothing wrong with counselling!  If at any time you feel a lot of heavy things are coming up
and you are encountering a lot of emotional turbulance, we greatly encourage you to seek personal
    counselling.

  • If you are suicidal, please contact the Samaritans via their Suicide Hotline - in the UK it is 08457 909 090.  In the Republic of Ireland, it is 116 123.

  • If you are a victim or perpetrator of domestic violence, you are welcome to participate but you may want to seek additional support:   Victims - contact the Croydon Justice Centre at 020 8688 0100.  Perpetrators - Contact Respect at 0808 802 4040.  There is also the 24-hour National Domestic Violence Hotline on 0808 2000 247.
